Companion Gundog training focuses on developing the skills and instincts required on the hunt, manners and obedience necessary for the home, and skillfully balancing the development of the two. Our comprehensive programs develop drive, obedience, and clear communication. Through structured training sessions, your gundog will learn essential obedience skills, hone their natural hunting instincts, and develop clarity on when it is appropriate to display these various behaviors.
Your dog will benefit from this immersive training program that incorporates our proprietary dual reinforcement training system, as well as daily exercise, enrichment, and socialization. Fieldwork sessions, including live game and gunfire are conducted 3 - 4 days per week.
Your pup stays in our home, living alongside our personal dogs, instead of a commercial kennel environment. We take a very limited number of dogs in for board + train at any given time. This ensures the highest level of attention and care for your companion.
During your dog’s stay you receive weekly status reports with video, as well as bi-weekly private or virtual training sessions. Upon completion of your dog’s stay we ensure a smooth transition by teaching you how to utilize and reinforce your dog’s training. Lifetime support is provided so you can always receive advice and feedback from us if anything comes up later on, even years after your dog’s training program was completed.

1-on-1 Sessions

Our professional trainers utilize a proprietary dual reinforcement training system to foster effective communication, produce real reliability, and strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
Whether you’re brand new to training a gundog, looking for a pre-season tune up, want to advance your dog’s skills, or are preparing for a hunt test, our private lessons equip you with the tools and knowledge necessary for lasting success. We make highly effective dog training simple to understand and implement, empowering you to create lasting change in your dogs behavior, and fostering a mutually fulfilling relationship at both ends of the leash.
All of our training services are available in private coaching format. For maximum flexibility, choose self-paced individual sessions where you schedule one session at a time at your convenience. For additional structure and maximum value, select a session package which meets for consecutive weekly sessions, discounts the per-lesson cost, and includes additional valuable content.
