Handmade with beveled edges from 10oz. latigo leather originally produced for maritime applications and finished with a solid bronze bolt snap. The bridle knot at the clip end of the leash helps concentrate the weight of the leash at the collar, minimizing its perception by the dog and incorporates a wear pad in its construction to prevent the metal clip from abrading through the leather. The bleeder knot at the handle end is smooth for better handling. Both knots are impossible to accidentally loosen and actually tighten under stress. These leashes soften with use and provides years of service. Due to size constraints, 1/4in wide leashes are stitched instead of knotted.
